So much for being alone

My DD is a sophomore in college, she lives at the dorm during the week and more weekends than not she is home to do her laundry. Most weeks I am fine with the solitude then there are those weeks for some unknown reason that by Wednesday I have to see her. It's easy enough with her being just 15 minutes from home. This week however is Spring Break and she and a friend went to Florida. Now I have traveled quite a bite since she was born and it never really bothered ME to be away but I'll tell ya, I wasn't so fond of it being the other way around, HER gone and ME here. I guess it's a mother thing you want your kid where they normally are, in a safe environment, a place they know and are known. She will be home tonight at Midnight, once she is back, life will normal here in Bingaland.
